Pick a rabbit hole

Start a batch tonight

1:4 concentrate in a 1.5 L jar or pitcher. Mix it tonight and strain it tomorrow, about 15 minutes of work in all.

  1. Weigh

    240 g of coffee, ground coarse.

  2. Stir

    Pour in 960 g of water and stir until every ground is wet.

  3. Steep

    Lid on, 12 hours on the counter. The fridge takes longer.

  4. Strain

    Fine mesh, then a paper filter. Let it drip and leave the grounds be.

    finish it within a week

  5. Pour

    1 part concentrate to 2 parts cold water or milk, over ice.
